A good place to ask questions.

Understanding grows when students have time to ask questions, work through ideas and practise the next step.

Maths and English, Kindergarten to Year 12.

1. Understand the starting point

We talk through what your child can already do and where the work becomes difficult, so we can choose a useful place to begin.

2. Explain the next step

We break the idea into manageable steps and use an example to check what makes sense and what needs another explanation.

3. Practise with purpose

Your child applies the idea to questions or writing. We review mistakes and talk through the part they need to practise again.

Tell us your child’s year, subject and the schoolwork they find difficult. We can discuss a useful starting point.
